“Notions” Artist Claudia Lynch and the Billboard Art Project

by Ramona on November 11, 2011

You have seen artist Claudia Lynch’s illustrations in “Notions” (just pick up any Notions and look at the cover art)  but there is much, much more to this artist than sewing illustrations.

Claudia Lynch

At this time she is participating in the Billboard Art Project, which is an innovative concept in digital billboard art. Work from artists around the nation is exhibited in a moving display on the billboard.

Claudia’s art is one of those featured in the Billboard Art event in New Orleans, across from the Superdome, which is running through November 18, 2011, where the art is interspersed with advertisements. Each artist’s work is displayed for a week.  If you live in New Orleans, this is Claudia’s week, so go see the display right now!  Her work is also part of the event in San Bernadino, CA (Riverside & Corona) which runs for 24 hours on Friday, December 2, 2011 from 12 AM through 11:59 PM.

If you live in these areas, catch these spectacular viewings, especially at night. Locations of the billboards are on the Billboard Art Project website.

Claudia, you rock!  More about Claudia and her art on her website.
